This was recorded back in 2006, almost 10 years ago yet it seems the educational system hasn?t learned squat. Of course there are many special schools where the system is different and it?s aimed to nurture creativity rather than undermine it.
But most standard schools act as factories instead of embracing a child?s ability to grow and express themselves.
We now have all this gadgets, smartphones, smart watches, tablets, cheaper computing power, yet in many cultures children become more and more consumers rather than creators.
Things don?It seem to move in the right direction but we can only hope for a better future, and of course we should do our best whenever we can to make sure we will have a better future!
